When we first recorded our famously original "Cackalacky Song" in our tiny cottage in Chapel Hill, North Carolina lo so many years ago, we had NO IDEA that it would take on a life of its own!

Yes. It's a silly song. Catchy, too! And, we've sung it everywhere - from illuminated stages and music festivals to the grocery store parking lots, NPR, and everywhere in between. (The Cackalacky® Song is even copyrighted and registered with The United States Library of Congress!)

And, now - thanks to the extraordinary advances in recording technology - we were not only able to digitally preserve the original analog cassette tape recording (below), you can now also enjoy various new takes on our original song *quite literally* from all ‘round the world! …Something that was heretofore only imaginable!
